Built To Grow
Designed for two young boys, this shared bathroom was thoughtfully reimagined to balance adaptability, durability, and timeless design. While the existing plumbing layout remained unchanged, adding a window transformed the space, introducing natural light and an immediate sense of openness that improved the room’s daily function.
Every element was selected with longevity in mind. A height-adjustable shower head mounted on a sliding bar allows the bathroom to evolve as its users grow, ensuring comfort from early childhood through the years ahead. Integrated storage takes the form of two recessed niches: one aligned with the bathtub and the other positioned at shower height to keep everyday essentials within easy reach while maintaining a clean, uncluttered aesthetic.
White oak cabinetry adds warmth and grounding contrast against white wall tile, black fixtures and a bold chevron-patterned floor. Subtle yet purposeful details, including a towel rack that provides additional storage, complete the design. When function is carefully considered, simplicity becomes both elegant and enduring.
